2024 Residency showing - in partnership with Catskill art space

Last fall, we welcomed emerging choreographer Olga Rabetskaya and her collaborators for the week-long Ardsley Choreographic Residency at Catskill Art Space. The residency offers mentorship from DGF founder and creative director, Astrid von Ussar, along with travel, room and board, and rehearsal space.

The residency brings together choreographers and collaborators for an immersive creative experience, unburdened by the logistical challenges that artists face in today’s contemporary world; increasing the deliberation and depth of the work that is created. In its sixth year, these moments have been fruitful for choreographers workshopping new dances, giving space and inspiration to create in the picturesque Catskill mountains.

Rabetskaya's residency was so fruitful and impressive that we knew we wanted to share the finished work at and with CAS. We invited her back this Memorial Day weekend and are thrilled to invite you all to see this work. Join us for the open rehearsal and culminating performance, schedule below:
